| If you leave your trailer and equipment unattended, and out of sight, you are protected from theft. The integrated locking device is cut-proof and cannot be accessed with bolt cutters. If the latch plate can't be opened it is impossible to lift the trailer coupler off the towing ball and subsequently steal the trailer and contents, even if the nut on the ball shank was removed you still can't separate the trailer from the towing vehicle. (You must have a locking pin through the receiver hitch tube to be totally secure.) |
