| Pull the spring loaded pin, lift the latch plate and your ready to hookup. The pin is never detached, therefore, you will not loose it. The total movement of the pin to release or engage the latch plate is approximately 1/2". |

| Note: We also developed and patented a similar towing safety device which was featured on the front page of TRACKS the official publication of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers, August,1998 issue. The article shows Governor Frank Keating signing Senate Bill 1009 allowing an alternative device to be used in place of Safety Chains on trailers towed in Oklahoma. This device mounts on the trailer and is used primarily by the Truck and Trailer Rental Industry for use on Car Carriers and Utility Trailers. One Major Rental Company requires their customers to watch a video explaining the use of the product before renting them a unit. |
